Up to 2014 Chris was Consultant Technologist for the UK Government’s International Trade & Investment Organisation (UKTI) where he was responsible for the development of Foreign Direct Interment (FDI) sector strategies. He developed a range of technology propositions and proposals for UK companies, and organised overseas technology scouting missions for a range of sectors. Between the years 2003 and 2005 he was Senior Project Leader of the micro-technology team at TWI, one of Europe’s largest independent research institutes.
He holds a first degree and PhD in Material Science from the University of Leeds
